A Baltimore City Police officer, in the Northeastern district, was suspended after a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by an officer. She claimed that the officer demanded she partake in a sexual act in order to avoid receiving a traffic ticket. Details are scarce but the officer is reportedly 31 years of age and has served on the force for three years.
Police said that the evidence they are taking into consideration is the DNA evidence from clothing collected and researching the location of the police cruiser on its GPS device. Investigators will also find out whether or not the two had a previous relationship, either of a personal or professional nature.
