The Stellar Awards, the premier Gospel music event recognizing and honoring African-American artists, airs its 27th annual awards show with all-star performances by Kirk Franklin, James Fortune and FIYA, Earnest Pugh, Le’Andria Johnson, Fred Hammond, Kim Burrell, Martha Munizzi, Jessica Reedy, Richard Smallwood and Vision, Da’Truth, Ricky Dilliard and New G, William McDowell, Canton Jones and hip-hop gospel artist, Lecrae, who impressively received two nominations in the same category.

Residents of Baltimore and surrounding areas are invited to take part in the 12th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade which celebrates the life of one of America’s most influential civil rights, political, and social icons.

Police search students at a Southwest Baltimore Middle School after a student brings a taser to school.

Middle schoolers at Beechfield Elementary and Middle school were met with metal wand detectors and police Wednesday morning after a student brought a taser to school earlier this week.

But many parents say they should have found about it from the school and not their kids or FOX45.
