The 27 year old has an anointed yet distinct sound that is reminiscent of some of the gospel legends that preceed her. Wright’s first solo album The Beginning hits stores August 24. You may have heard her single “I Win (Overcomer)” which is generating buzz around the nation but you must hear the entire album to get the full experience of Brittney Wright. Saturday Wright held an album release party in Baltimore, where she currently resides.
