I am sharing this from Shirley Johnson’s Facebook post:

“The softest thing in the universe overcomes the hardest thing in the universe.” -Lao-tzu, “Tao te Ching

So often our society gives the word, “surrender” a negative connotation.  We are often taught the word, “surrender” through the context of war, sports and competition.  We are taught even as early as from playing sports that if we surrender we are “bad” or “weak”.

But when we surrender and make ourselves soft to the flow of Life and Spirit, there is no such thing as losing.  When we give in to our Highest Good, the concept of losing ceases to exist and miracles can occur!

Our bodies are 70% water.  Yet most people I know (including myself) seem to be walking around with a lot of tight water.

What would happen if we surrendered to the softness that we are?  What would happened if we applied some of that softness to how we treat ourselves and others?  What would happen if we surrendered to Spirit?

No matter what seemingly “hard” thing is going on, when we allow our natural “soft” self to emerge, everything and anything becomes possible.
