NEW YORK — Harlem residents are concerned over a new resident who has just moved in who was convicted of killing his neighbor in 2002.
Robert Durst killed his neighbor and was investigated for the disappearance of his wife.
Durst is a wealthy heir to a New York real estate fortune who was also known to be a cross-dresser.

The New York Post reports:
“He shouldn’t be able to move in here,” said Patricia Lizet, 67, a nursing assistant.
“He’s a killer. He should be on some island by himself. I don’t want him living next to me. You can’t trust him.
“No one wants an ex-killer in the community.”
