Today, Lamar Johnson who spent 13 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit was finally released because the city state’s attorney’s office says it’s vacating the conviction. Johnson was convicted of shooting a man several times, but his family and the investigators from the group Innocence Project say there was no physical evidence and he had no motive to commit the crime.
