YOUR LIFE:

If you have experienced hurt and anger because of what others have done to you, seek the filling of the Holy Spirit and allow God to reveal His will for you. Often, He allows and then uses adverse circumstances to mature us so He can use us to bless the lives of others.

CLOSING THOUGHT:

Mistreatment from others can make us bitter; however, as we mature in Christ and recognize God’s hand in our circumstances bitterness can be replaced with forgiveness and love for those who have intentionally hurt us. When we submit to God’s authority over our lives, He can abundantly bless us and use us to bless even our enemies.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Dear GOD, forgive us for failing to show love instead of bitterness toward those who have deliberately hurt us. Help us to show the love your Son showed toward those who crucified Him for our salvation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
