Ever dreamed of owning Camden Yards or Johns Hopkins University? Well, now’s your chance, at least in board game form! Baltimore is getting its very own edition of Monopoly, and the creators want your input on which iconic places should make the cut.

Set to launch this fall, the Baltimore edition will showcase landmarks, businesses, and organizations that truly represent the city’s history and culture. Sports teams, historic sites, beloved restaurants, and major universities will be featured as property spaces, Community Chest and Chance cards, and even on the box itself.

“Baltimore is such a unique community with a rich history. We want Monopoly: Baltimore Edition to reflect what locals and visitors love about this city,” said Tim Barney of Top Trumps, the company producing the game. “We’re looking for places that are undeniably Baltimore—spots with legacy, credibility, and deep community ties.”

Have a favorite Baltimore landmark in mind? You can submit your suggestions on their website or email them at Baltimore@toptrumps.com. But don’t wait too long—final selections will be made by the first week of April!

Once all the spots are locked in, a big launch and unveiling party will take place in the fall of 2025 at a well-known Baltimore venue. According to Barney, these events are always exciting because it’s the first time people get to see (and buy!) the completed game.

Monopoly has been a fan-favorite since it debuted in 1935, featuring classic tokens like the race car, top hat, and battleship. While the game has evolved over the years, its core gameplay remains the same—buy properties, build your empire, and bankrupt your friends.

With a Baltimore-themed edition on the way, this is your chance to make sure your favorite spots get a well-deserved place on the board. Get your ideas in before it’s too late!
