1-year-old Shamyrah Irons died Thursday evening after being taken to Johns Hopkins Pediatric Center from trauma to the child’s head. Reports indicated that the child was in the care of her father, 24-year-old Keaton Irons, and was transported to the hospital where she later died.
Irons was arrested and has been charged with attempted first-and second-degree murder, first-and second-degree assault and first-degree child abuse. He is currently being held at the Harford County Detention Center without bond.
