Happy 49th Birthday President Barack Obama.
Still it remains a busy day for the nation’s Commander and Chief. This morning the President will address the AFL-CIO Executive Council to discuss the steps taken to rebuild the economy and create jobs.
The President is also scheduled to present the 2010 Citizens Medal to 13 Americans. The medal recognizes those who have “performed exemplary deeds and service for their country or their fellow citizens.”
Later, the President will meet with the outspoken Kentucky Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
And to end his day, he plans to travel to Chicago for a birthday dinner with friends and intends to stay in his Hyde Park home.
