Police say 41-year-old Patrick Toney of Odenton died at a hospital Wednesday.
He was taken into custody last Friday for a mental health evaluation after officers saw him behaving erratically while his SUV was stopped in a roadway. He lost consciousness and stopped breathing on the way to the hospital. Medical staffers were able to revive him, but he died five days later.
