R&B singer Kehlani has been hospitalized on psychiatric hold after attempting to commit suicide when a story claiming she might be cheating on her ex-boyfriend, NBA player Kyrie Irving, began to circulate the web.

She deactivated her Instagram account amid the rumors and later reactivated the page after wiping it clean of photos. Before deleting all the photos, however, she posted a pic of herself with an IV in her arm captioned, “Today I wanted to leave this earth.”

She continued: “Never thought I’d get to such a low point. But.. Don’t believe the blogs you read .. No one was cheated on and I’m not a bad person… everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding.. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow,” the singer wrote on social media “But God saved me for a reason and for that… I must be grateful.. Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason… On that note.. Bye Instagram.”

Erica Campbell caught wind of Kehlani’s story and sent a prayer her way.

“I don’t usually do this,” she said. “I don’t even know this pretty girl or the details of her situation but I saw her post about her suicide attempt. @kehlani yes God saved your life for a reason sweet heart! I’m praying God surrounds you with his love and his peace. Everything is gonna be alright cause when you search for God you will find him! You Are Loved! Sending Love & Blessings to you #kehlani.”

Kehlani is a 20-year-old beauty who was nominated for a Grammy this year in the “best urban contemporary album” category for her 2015 album, You Should Be Here. The intro to You Should Be Here includes an insightful spoken word where she says, “They says God gives His toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. And what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
