Gov. Larry Hogan is scheduled to meet with the chair of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland to discuss the shortage of black applicants chosen as finalists to grow and process medical marijuana in the state as reports.

Del. Cheryl Glenn is set to meet with Hogan Thursday. She says only one minority applicant was chosen as a finalist out of 15 growers and 15 processors.

Glenn, a leading sponsor of the 2014 legislation, says she is considering taking legal action if the diversity matter isn’t addressed.
