“Faithful To Believe” Features Tye Tribbett, Karen Clark-Sheard and Marvin Winans

Byron Cage delivers another joyous testament of triumphant praise on his new CD and live DVD FAITHFUL TO BELIEVE, due in stores October 27th. Recorded live at Detroit’s Second Ebenezer Baptist Church, and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Aaron Lindsey, FAITHFUL TO BELIEVE is a nonstop showcase of praise anthems, worship ballads, and – Cage’s specialty – outright church!

FAITHFUL TO BELIEVE, is a magnificent manifestation all of the lessons that Cage has learned as a musician, gospel music chart-topper, Grammy nominee and Stellar Award winner, and compiled them into essentially an album that will touch all. The title track and first single, written by Cage along with Aaron and Adrian Lindsey, is a calypso-infused praise jam that reminds listeners of God’s faithfulness to His people. Cage says: “I want people to know that they can go to sleep knowing that God is in control; that we can be glad and rejoice amidst calamities and horrific situations that are going on around us and, that if we’re faithful to believe, we can come out the other end as pure gold.”

“In The Midst,” which features Tye Tribbett, is a rousing exhortation to praise God in the midst of whatever you may be going through, while Karen Clark-Sheard and Marvin Winans join Cage on “Lord You Are My Everything,” each putting their unique spin on the verse “…you are my everything, my joy, my song, my peace all the day long…” FAITHFUL TO BELIEVE is full of musical gems that find Byron capturing the true essence of traditional Gospel music while also touching a newer generation of Gospel music lovers. In the end, what matters most to Cage is that those who are on the brink of despair can step out in faith and declare the sovereignty of the One who loved us first. “I want people to receive a faith-building message, to remind them that God will supply all of their needs according to His riches and glory,” he says.
