Baton Rouge is about to get some much needed help from four powerful women.

The Red Cross is calling the flooding, the worst U.S. disaster since Hurricane Sandy in 2012, with damage costing at least $30 million.

“I wasn’t afraid,” she says. “I felt disgust at what is being done across the country. At the fact that it’s come this far that we have to take to the streets in protest to demand our safety.”

The two officers -- Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II -- were placed on administrative leave following the shooting. Lake previously discharged his weapon in the line of duty.

Gov. Edwards added that the Middle District of Louisiana U.S. Attorney's office and the FBI will also assist in the investigation.
