There appears to be some good news coming from the ongoing Black Lives Matter protest and it involves one of its central activists. DeRay McKesson has a reason to celebrate because he was just offered a highly respected position with the Baltimore Public Schools system.

Yesterday, a jury found Richards (aka Jasmine Abdullah) guilty of attempting to unlawfully remove a suspect from police custody during that protest. The technical term for the charge she was convicted of is "lynching."

Maryland police arrested a prominent Black Lives Matter activist for sexual trafficking of a minor. Charles Wade, who operates a charity, said he's innocent.
