Every year on November 11 we pay homage to the courageous men and women who currently serve or served in the U.S. Armed Forces. These veterans put their lives on the line to selflessly protect Americans. No words can express our gratitude for the sacrifices made in order to maintain America’s freedom. And today we honor you.

APPLEBEE’S

Active Duty and Veterans can eat FREE on Veteran’s Day at participating Applebee’s only. Military simply need show proof of military service.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE

Outback will offer a FREE Bloomin’ Onion and beverage. The FREE Bloomin’ Onion and Beverage promotion is open to the following Military Personnel who have one of the following forms of identification on November 11, 2010: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW, Photograph in Uniform or Wearing Uniform). The FREE beverage will be customer’s choice of one non-alcoholic drink.

CHILI’S

Veterans ans Active Duty Military can eat FREE today and have a choice of 1 of 6 entree’s.

NATIONAL PARKS

Entrance fee is waived on Veteran’s Day for everyone. Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.

FREE meals for veterans and active duty military but you must show proof of military service.

COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG

“Honoring Service to America” Passes Available November 11–14, 2010. Military and their families receive FREE admission. From Thursday through Sunday of Veterans Day weekend, Colonial Williamsburg offers weekend-long admission passes to active-duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, and their families.

It also includes FREE parking at the Visitor Center, access to the short movie Williamsburg—The Story of a Patriot, and complimentary use of Colonial Williamsburg shuttle buses.

The service member need not be present. FREE “Honoring Service to America” passes will be provided to immediate family members of currently deployed troops with appropriate identification. Military veterans who separated before retirement can bring a copy of their honorable discharge paperwork, DD Form 214, as identification of service.
