The Board of Education of Baltimore County voted 8-4 to appoint Dr. Darryl L. Williams as the next superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools.
According to the release, Williams currently serves as the area associate superintendent of K-12 schools in eight clusters in Montgomery County Public Schools.
Williams was selected following an extensive nationwide superintendent search facilitated by Ray and Associates, Inc., incorporating input from more than 4,400 Baltimore County citizens, according to the school board.
